Okay, sorry everyone. really late on this travel blog but bare with me, the computers out here are horrible and I can't even upload any pictures.
First day out I got off the plane with no idea what or where to go. I approached a bus driver and he wouldn't let me on the bus b/c I couldn't tell him where to take me. ha ha. So I jumped on the train and heading downtown. Of course I got lost for about 2 hours trying to find a hostel but finally found one. I ended up staying there for 2 nights and explored the town with some friends from the hostel. Of course I went to the Opera house, which is amazing. botanical gardens and pretty much all over Sydney. Around Sydney was Bondi beach and manly island. Look it up, that's about all I can say. Its dope.
Later on I headed out to queens island to find a new hostel and meet some new people. Ended up at the Blue parrot and stayed there for 3 nights. Upon my stay I ended up partying way to much and met a lot of great people. One of which was Claire from England. She and my friend Jen (from back home) made this huge trip up north to Cairns to do some scuba diving, rain forest, zoo, exploring the world, etc. I jumped ship and met them out there the next day. I've been with them ever since and it has been a blast. Cairns has unreal scuba diving (great barrier reef) and unbelievable rain forest.
After a couple of nights in Cairns we headed up to Cape Tribulation. This long bus/tourist guide brought us up into the forest. Saw tons of crocodiles, kangaroos, koalas, and pretty much any type of lizard and animal you can think of. Awesome!
The next day we headed toward Port Douglas because Cape was really a one night stay deal. There was nothing else to do, we saw it all.
Another relax day in Port Douglas and we jumped on another bus down to Mission beach where I am right now. Its about 10 pm and people at the hostel are partying right now so I gotta go. Sorry for the very very late update but the next ones from here on out will be much more detailed. Trust me.
